A hunting season analysis written from your own log

A Season Analysis debrief comparing a slow stand and a busy one against the season averageSeason Analysis notes quoted from the log and a plan for the rest of the season

Season Analysis is the debrief a hunting buddy would give you after reading your whole journal: what worked, what did not, and what to try next. It is built only from patterns your own sits back up, so there is no filler and no generic advice.

Only what your log can back up

Before anything is written, the app works out the patterns on your phone: stands that produce well above or below your season average, the winds, temperatures, times of day and rut phases where you saw more deer, and stands that went quiet when you sat them back to back. A pattern only counts when it rests on at least three sits and stands out clearly from your season as a whole, and nothing is called a strength with fewer than five deer seen behind it.

The debrief then explains those findings in plain words, with the numbers behind each one shown underneath. Small samples are called out as something to test rather than something settled.

In your own words

If you write notes on your sits, the debrief picks out the things you kept coming back to — the same trail, the same swirling wind — and quotes your notes word for word, so you can see exactly where each point came from.

A plan for this season or the next

Every debrief ends with a short plan, for the rest of this season or for next season — the app picks whichever fits where you are in the season, and you can switch it. The plan only names what your findings support, and it gets longer only when your log gives it more to work with.

You choose what gets sent

Nothing leaves your phone until you buy an analysis, and before you do, the app shows exactly what will be sent. Your season stats and the findings always go; your notes, your stand names and the weather can each be switched off, and the preview changes as you do it. The debrief is written by Anthropic’s Claude, which does not use it for training, and our server keeps none of it once the debrief is written.

How it works

Season Analysis appears on the Season tab once a season has at least five sits and one pattern worth reporting. Each analysis costs $0.99, and you can run it again whenever your season has grown. Your first one is free with the code FIRSTFREE. Saved debriefs reopen any time, offline too, and you can rate each point or tell us what would make the next one more useful.
