FAQ

Is it free?

Yes. No in-app purchase, no subscription, no paid tier — unlimited stands, unlimited sit logs, the harvest log with photos, and season stats. All of it.

Where can I get it?

The Stand is free on the App Store now. Android is coming.

Does it work without cell service?

Yes. Everything you log is saved on your phone, so the app works deep in the woods with no signal. Weather auto-fill needs a connection; without one, the weather fields stay open for you to fill in.

Is my data private?

Your sits, stands, harvests and photos stay on your phone, and there is no account. Weather auto-fill sends your current location to Open-Meteo, a weather service, to fetch the forecast. Beyond that, the app sends only anonymous usage counters — never what you logged.

How is this different from onX or HuntStand?

onX and HuntStand are pre-hunt tools — maps and weather. The Stand is the hunting journal you fill out after the sit, and it gets more useful every season you use it.
