A harvest deserves a better record than a phone photo and a fading memory. The Stand keeps a permanent harvest log: the details you will want to look back on, the photos, and the story of how it happened, all in one place, and linked to the sit it came from when you choose to link it.
Every detail, recorded once
Log the date and time, the species and the weapon, and the shot distance in yards. Record field-dressed and live weight, and an antler score along with the scoring system you used. Whether it was a first deer or a buck you hunted for three seasons, the numbers are there when someone asks — and when you want to compare years.
Photos and the story
Attach photos from the field and write the story while it is fresh: the approach, the wait, the shot. There is a separate place for recovery notes — the blood trail, how long you waited, what you would do differently — which is often the most useful thing to read before the next season.
Species covers more than whitetail: elk and turkey are there too, so a spring gobbler and a late-season doe live in the same log. Because the record is structured rather than a caption on a photo, you can come back years later and still know the distance, the weapon and the weight without guessing.
When you want to share it, The Stand builds a harvest card image from the record that you can send through your phone’s share sheet to whoever you choose.
Linked to the sit and stand
A harvest can be linked to the sit it came from, so the conditions that day — the wind, the temperature, the time and what else you saw — stay attached to it. Over time each stand carries its own harvest count, and your season totals include every harvest.
Yours, on your phone
Harvest records and photos are stored on your device, not on our servers, and there is no account. The harvest log is part of the free app, with no limit on entries and up to 20 photos on each harvest.
